I just don’t see why slowing down late game income generation is better than making specfic crops with the purpose to provide an end game alternative to farmers. You start the Harvest Festival Event with 50 Moon Splinters 25px and each event quest will give you more as a reward for completing the given tasks. There are so many different things to do that having a reliable source of money frees up a good amount of time to grow specific crops for mutations/quests or to grow no crops and fish or raise animals or even hunting down mass amounts of people’s love gifts. On top of that there are a ton of crop mutations to unlock. Especially sense there are achievements/quests/requests/skills that all involve growing/mining different things. Right now I have more than enough money for anything just from gems, 1 day in the mine gives me over 100k and waiting a week for my crops to grow gives me about 20-30k, there is just no point in selling crops may as well use them to cook to get more energy to mine :PĪnd I just don’t see anything bad about that. In FoMT the main thing was mining :/ so it makes sense in that game why they are worth a lot. It doesnt make any sense that 2 gems are worth more than my entire farm. Just picking up a few Coppers and Silvers can yield a quick 500G, and your profits will soar even higher if you get far enough down to start digging up some gemstones, which sell for everything from 170G (Peridot) to 1000G (Diamond). Most of the money I've made was from gems and I am progressing slower just because things take time to grow, not because lack of funds. Mining in Tree of Tranquility is a notably profitable task. Buildings belonging to the same set will provide bonuses if place next to each other.
